What is Scribble & Shine?
Scribble & Shine creates colourful, hands-on activity books for toddlers and preschool learners.
What age is Volume One for?
My Learning Journal: Essentials Vol 1 is designed for ages 1–3. Every child develops at their own pace, and adult supervision is recommended.
What does Volume One cover?
The book includes 61 activities across 137 pages, exploring six colours, numbers 1–6 and the phonics sounds S, A, T, P, I and N.
Is it a physical book?
Yes. Volume One: Essentials is a printed activity book, not a digital download.
Do I need dot markers or dabbers?
Many activities are designed with dot markers in mind. Our optional six-colour set is sold separately for £7.99. Preorders are currently closed. Suitable crayons, pencils or paint can also be used for selected activities.
Are the dot markers included with the book?
No. The book and dot-marker set are separate products so you can choose the option that suits you.
When will preorders reopen?
Our first preorder window is officially closed. Join our VIP list to be first to hear about our next launch. Existing journal preorders remain scheduled for delivery by the end of November 2026.
Where do you deliver?
At launch, delivery is planned for United Kingdom addresses only.
How much is delivery?
Standard UK delivery costs £2.95 for orders under £29.99 and is free on orders of £29.99 or more.
When will my order arrive?
Journal-only orders are preorders, for delivery by the end of November 2026.
If your order includes a journal and dot markers, both items will be dispatched together when the journal is ready, for delivery by the end of November 2026.
Dot-marker-only orders are handled separately from journal preorders. We’ll email you when your order is dispatched.
Can I return my order?
You can notify us of a change-of-mind cancellation within 14 days after the day you receive your goods and then have a further 14 days to return them. You can also cancel journal preorders before dispatch. Starting production does not automatically remove your cancellation rights.
Handling reasonably necessary to inspect a product is allowed. Writing, colouring or painting in a journal, completing activities, or substantial use of dot markers beyond reasonable inspection may lead to a lawful deduction reflecting the actual reduction in value, potentially up to the affected product’s full price where justified. Faulty-product rights remain unaffected.
Email hello@scribbleandshine.co.uk for return instructions. Please read our Returns & Refunds policy for the full details and model cancellation form.
